Hello!

I'm 29 years old, live with my husband and a pet hamster and work as a biologist.

I love learning new things and Postcrossing is a great way to explore the world. I also like reading, spending time with friends and family, taking naps and doing yoga or pilates. Environmental and animal rights issues are important to me, and I'm a vegetarian. I live, I learn, I love.

Some of my favourite card themes are: animals native to your country or area, ghost towns and abandoned buildings, art, ballet dancers, state and provincial cards, old photos, vintage reprints, city views, St. Petersburg (Russia) and exceptional natural phenomena of any kind. P.P.S. Also, something I get asked a lot: no, I don't speak Russian or any Slavic languages nor any Japanese or Chinese. But I am interested in languages and know the Cyrillic alphabet so I like to use Cyrillic letters in addresses when sending cards to Slavic countries. I also sometimes add Chinese or Japanese characters to addresses written in Latin alphabet because I have noticed the cards generally reach their destination sooner with this extra help.
