Let me see, where do I begin?
Hello! I am s 29 year old American currently living in Shanghai, China with my husband and my crazy and occasionally evil dog.
I majored in English because I love to write, even though I don't care about half of the dead people I studied. I'm sure they appreciate that. Hehe. One of my goals in life is to be published.
I initially wanted to be a high school English teacher, but somewhere along the way I lost the desire for that. That didn't stop me from hopping on a plane and flying to China to teach English for a year in 2006. It was a great experience, even though at times it was tough and occasionally scary. It would take me hours to tell you about it. However, you can always read my blog. Just follow this link and it will take you there - www.mysteriousandmisplaced.com. I left China in 2007, but returned in March of 2010. Guess I didn't get a large enough dose of China the first time. :)
I've got a plethora of passions. One of course is writing, but I also love photography and baseball. I am a huge Atlanta Braves fan. I like to explore the outdoors and I enjoy traveling. I'd like to visit as many countries as I can. So far, I've been to Mexico, the Bahamas, Portugal, Costa Rica, and China. I've got so many more to go to, it isn't even funny. :)
Faeries are awesome. If by chance you have a faerie postcard, I would love to add it to my collection. Last, but certainly not least, I adore animals - domestic and wild. Cats are probably my favorite.
You can send me whatever you want, though. I'll be happy no matter what type of picture or pictures are on the front. Surprise me, I guess.
And if your native language isn't English, I'd love for you to write a sentence in your native language. If you could, translate it for me. And say something weird, like, "The purple alligator swallowed the unsuspecting zebra in one quick gulp!" Thanks.
Well, now that I have written a novel, I better wrap it up before I tell you my life story. I've got to save something to write on a postcard! :)
