Hi there,

I would love you to send me a card with something from your country (like a landscape, building, a lighthouse, a train, people, something cultural, religious, a cartoon character, food, whatever you think typical). Something from a local painter or other artist I also like very much!

I also like cards from a local museum - the building, some interesting object from inside - something like that. I've done volunteer work in a museum, which I really liked! It was a museum about the indigenous people of the Americas. We had some beautiful objects of ancient Peru, of the Inuit etc. So I very much like to know if you have a museum near you and if you have ever been there and if you liked it or not.

If you have a mapcard from your country, which shows all the states (USA), Bundesländer (Germany), Oblasts (Ukrania) or provinces etc. - I would love to get one!

And I love elephants, rhino's and hippo's!

Postcrossers aus Deutschland, Die Schweiz oder Österreich: Bitte schreibe auf Deutsch - ich finde es immer ein bisschen Fremd eine Karte aus Deutschland zu bekommen in Englisch! Vielen Dank!

Nederlandse postcrossers, willen jullie me alsjeblieft een kaartje sturen van je woonplaats of iets daar in de buurt? Het mag best een 'toeristisch' kaartje zijn! Zo kan ik mijn map van Nederlandse kaartjes vullen met 'alle' mooie plekjes die we hebben! Bedankt!

My 'avatar' is a picture from the castle in the Slangenburg, near Doetinchem, where I was born and lived (not in the castle, but nearby) for 23 years (on the map you can see Doetinchem, if you zoom in a bit, a bit to the north east of Nijmegen).

P.s Tip voor Nederlandse postcrossers (om geld te besparen). Ik werk in een postagentschap en merk dat veel mensen denken dat naar Rusland een Wereld-postzegel moet. Dit is niet zo! Zelfs naar mensen die dichter bij Japan wonen als Europa kun je een kaart sturen met een Europa-zegel!!!
Overigens geldt dit ook voor heel Turkije (dus inclusief het Aziatisch deel).
