About Dorthe...

I have received a card from Leipzig/Germany without ID. There are not enough information on the card for the Postcrossing Team to locate the sender, so I hope you check my profile and contact me. The card is homemade, it shows a Sunflower with the text: Greetings from my Garden. On the back there is a black and white picture of a cottage, that makes some of the text difficult to read.

I love postcards, it is a fun way to "meet" new friends and learn about other countries.

Here are some of my favorites, if you need inspiration (only suggestions, not demands):

- bridges
- cityviews
- map-cards
- buildings
- lighthouses
- Unesco sites
- autumn/winter views and also Christmas cards
- water, sakura/cherry blossoms
- any card that shows something of importance to you.
- Cards like this (Chronik-Karten):

I have these German cities already: Bad Gandersheim, Bad Münstereifel, Bautzen, Berlin, Dresden, Düsseldorf, Festung Königstein, Flensburg, Hildesheim, Leipzig, Potsdam, Soest and Stuttgart.
I have also received a card from Kaliningrad (Koenigsberg), so the cards can also be found outside Germany.

I'm not a fan of cards of animals, flowers, dolls or costumes.

Belgian postcrossers: Please no map cards, so far I have 6 identical maps of your country.

Here are the cards I have received sofar:

Thanks a lot in advance, I am looking forward to receiving your card.

The Danish Postal Service have raised the price of stamps 45%, so I am going to send some of my mail as Economy mail in the future instead of Priority mail. This means it will take a a little bit longer for my mail to reach you.
