About Diana...

Hello.
My name is Diana and I'm Portuguese.

I love travelling, sightseeing and coming into contact with other cultures. I really like reading. I like Gabriel Garcia Márquez, José Saramago and Haruki Murakami, among others. I like purple, tulips, eating seafood, swimming and sunbathing, and Salvador Dali. I have a postcard collection I'm hoping to grow, but what I like in Postcrossing is surprising or being surprised by a postcard, so I'll appreciate anything I find in my mail box. 😉

I also have a "Dolls of the world" collection (85 countries represented by 348 dolls in traditional clothes at the moment! You can check it out on my facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10154263704550256&type=3 )

I'm an English teacher, and this is an activity I can recommend to my students. I might share your card with them!

In case you need some ideas, here are some suggestions of cards I'd like:
- people or dolls wearing traditional clothes
- the "touristic" cards
- views of your town, city, country
- landscapes
- monuments
- landmarks
- "World Fashion" collection
- traditions or festivals
- unusual materials
- seasonal cards when in season (Christmas, New year, Easter, or any other holiday you might celebrate, even if I don't...)
- handmade cards, if you enjoy making them
- anything else you might find interesting. Or beautiful. Or funny. Or unique. 😉

Tell me why you chose that postcard and your connection to it. 😊

If you like creative writing and are up for a challenge, imagine a super short story and make it fit on the back of the card! ✍

Happy postcrossing!

P.S. My profile picture is my reflection in a detail of the work "I'm your mirror" by Joana Vasconcelos.
