Hi there!
I'm a 24 y.o. girl from Latvia, Europe.
I'm a translator / interpreter, so I like languages both as a hobby and for work. In my free time I read about Asia, especially Japan, other cultures, love cooking and wish to go to pastry chef courses, do crafts and different handmade items, travel, dance, listen to music and watch movies.

About postcards:

I like (for collections):
- Asia, especially Japan
* ukiyo-e | geisha | calligraphy | colorful paper fans, umbrellas and lanterns | patterns (like sakura and other flower patterns) | costumes | traditions | food | people and places
- Mucha and Art Nouveau cards
- everything about cooking and recipes/sweets/drinks/herbs/fruits (Nouvelles images if you have to share)
And in general:
- odd/creepy/funny things
- traditional clothes/native people
- colorful nature scenes (sunsets, waterscapes etc.) and nature macro
- retro
- old churches/buildings/lighthouses/bridges
- from animals and birds: cats and rabbits for this is my lunar year, owls, frogs
- Moomin cards if you have any to share

* Hand-made cards are OK with me, especially watercolors/graphic/scrapbook
* I'm not very fond of:
- Ad-cards
- Multiple-view cards (2 or 3 views on a card are still OK if you have nothing else)
* And please no envelope if possible

Please be creative in choosing a postcard. :)
P.S. I'm twice as happy if the stamps are beautiful too.

Tell me something about yourself. Who you are. What are your interests. What made your day. A quote you like.

You can write me something in your native language. If you forget (or have no space) to write a translation, don't worry, I'll figure it out somehow *~____^*

Or you can just send me a recipe to cook. Something tasty, please :)

If you like writing letters (or looking for a penpal), then send me your address. I'll do my best to reply. ;)

P.S. I do private swaps, but only if you can offer something for my collections or written/stamped from a country I don't have yet. Item swaps only in special cases - unfortunately I'm on low budget for hobbies now.
