Hello :)

I am a student, I love traveling and getting to know new people and languages. I took part in two life-changing exchange programmes with AFS (check it out!) in Slovenia (three months in 2011) and in Latvia (school year 2013-2014). I also spend 2016's autumn semester in the Netherlands.

I love listening to music (folk, indie, post-rock, pop-rock, some metal from time to time,…) and try to play some myself. I mostly enjoy discovering music other people like, I ask my friends what they are listening to at the moment or I just read treads about people's favorite song to cry or laugh on random forums.

Let me read about the story behind the card or about yourself or someone or something you love, your pets. Please, write down the name of a song or/and movie you like. I you love to know what's happening to you at the moment, what you see, what you hope or dream of.

Two of my favorite movies are Carol (2015) and Pride (2014). I also loved the Boxtrolls (2014).

Concerning what I like, I will try to make a list of what I like as it might be easier to read than a text:

-Things that are beautiful and peaceful in general
-Animals in the wild (especially small birds and hedgehogs)
-Flowers (I love forget-me-not's)
-Traditional costumes or ornaments
-Art reproductions (or original by you if you feel like it) (I love impressionists)
-Petterson und Findus/Pettson and Findus
-Beautiful landscapes
-Parts of your city (or another one) you like
-Old maps
-Postallove greeting cards (I have Germany)
-Jane Austen
-Maggie Smith, Emma Thomson and british comedies
-Ken Loach
-Sherlock (BBC), Downton abbey and Doctor Who (especially Tenant and the beautiful images like the fishes from Christmas 2010 or the TARDIS on the beach/cliffs/fields), not so much the creatures/monsters), Orphan Black (Cosima and Helena are my favorites)
-Lord of the Ring, Harry Potter
-Book covers
-Ghibli studios (Howl's Moving Castle and Spirited Away even more than the others)
-Knitting
-Tea
-People in their daily lives
-Black and white
-Birthday greetings all year long

Special weird request if you are into photomontage (or collage), have time and thing it's funny. I would love to receive some quirky stuffs like famous actors playing music instruments in incongruous situations in the size of a postcard (actually I don't care, but we are supposed to exchange postcards).

This is just to give you an idea, send anything you believe might be relevant for a dreamer in her early 20's with a silly sense of humor, or simply something you would like to share.

Postcards are welcome to arrive in envelopes or not, to be folded cards or to go along with a letter (or a tea bag, I love tea ;) ), as you like. Feel free to send homemade cards as well but please no Ann Geddes style of card, please, keep them for someone who will actually enjoy them.
