Hi there,

I'm currently studying at the Friedrich-Wilhelm-University in Münster (Germany) to become a pharmacist. Much like my grandmother did 70 years ago at the same university. I stumbled across postcrossing.com after I heard a fellow student talking enthusiastically about it. As far as I recollect I always kept souvenirs from the places my parents took me during my childhood and I retained this habit ever since. Whilst my previous travels mostly took me to other european countries (Italy, Greece, Sweden, Austria, Slovakia, Portugal, Ireland, England etc.) I hope my postcards will travel the world and the seven seas.

You could tell me something about your daily life, your pets, family history or explain to me why I should visit your town/country during the next semester break. Feel free to write parts or the whole postcard in your native language. I'll take up the challenge of translating gladly :-) (Spanish/French - I'll just ask my roommate for help // Swedish/Russian - I'll take a look at my dictionaries // Italian - hopefully five years of learning Latin in school will help // Other languages - Google ^^)

* paintings by Rembrandt, Sandro Botticelli, Gustav Klimt, Pieter Bruegel the Elder, Roy Lichtenstein, van Gogh, Caspar David Friedrich, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Georges Seurat... (and any artist YOU like)
* grey cats (e.g. Chartreux/ British Shorthair)
* racecars from the 1930s, 1950s and 1970s
* pharmaceuticals, alchemy, medicinal plants
* generally speaking every card you'll choose as long as you write something on the backside :-)
