For me, Postcrossing is really about communicating with people around the world, which I think is amazing and wonderful. I encourage you to send whatever postcard you think best represents you and where you live. My favorite postcard ever was from a 12-year-old girl in Taiwan. I was touched that she took the time to draw me a postcard. It really made my day. I treasure homemade postcards.
If you would like more ideas on what to send, I'm interested in cities and history. I love to get postcards that show streetcars, trams in your city. I especially love subway/metro map cards! I am also a big fan of Herge (TinTin) and Joost Swarte cartoons.
