Hey from Christy in south Louisiana!

I live with my husband of 50 years (gasp!) and our son, Travis, who has Down syndrome. He is a bright light. We play Beach Boy songs every day. We have 2 other adult children and 2 sweet grandchildren. I have traveled to many countries and lived in many places, but I am most satisfied at home. I don't want to go anywhere. "Home is the place" at this time in my life.

My passion is reading. "To love reading is to have everything within your reach." I am retired from teaching and counseling, but I still love learning! What I most love about Postcrossing is the connection to people all over the world. I enjoy picking out cards and stamps that match each person's interest.
