About Christiana...

Moin!

So we say good morning, good day and good evening in this region of Germany.

I am a woman , who likes many, many things: swimming, gardening, collecting stamps (Christmas, Germany , lighthouses, animals) and coins, reading thrillers, riding a bicycle, handicrafts, riddles and puzzles and getting post from all over the world. By the way I collect images of typical landscapes or skylines, animals (especially butterflies and other insects), art-paintings, calligraphic cards, famous buildings, funny things and plants.

I also like Black and White postcards with a TOUCH OF COLOR
... and stereograms and Maxi cards are great.

This kind of cards by Oleg Shupliak are also amazing:

Now I learnt about a new designer through postcrossing. I admire his work too: Charley Harper. Example:

And still I am happy about every postcard, which reaches me. But not only the image is important to me, kind words are always welcome. They are like a good friend's hug and brighten up a dark day. So I like all of my received cards, either I would have to put all of them in the favorite list or none.

Do you eat a banana? Please put the banana sticker on my card. That was great.

Tell me something about your city or country or people. Or write your favorite recipe - I like cooking and baking. Tell me your favorite quote ... or paint a picture - But please, write more than only "Happy postcrossing".

Happy postcrossing
Christiana

Please, don't forget to write the date on the card.

2018 was a good year - only two of 137 cards expired!
2019 was as good as 2018 - only three of 148 cards expired!!!
2020 was not so good: seven of 164 cards expired.
2021 was o.k: four cards of 104 expired
2022 was o.k.: 52 cards expired of 55
2023 was great.: 72 sent cards, no expired - and many are still on the way
