About Maggie...

I am 55 years old, newly married, have two loving children from my former marriage, and now three beautiful step-daughters. We have a cat and a ferret, both boys are lovable and fun to play with. I like to swim and take walks. My hobbies include knitting, crocheting, sewing, quilting, Red Hatting, and crossword puzzles. I just acquired an embroidery machine and a long-arm quilt frame and having fun playing with them!! I also like to go camping with my family.

My husband and I enjoy traveling, and since he has traveled the world and I have not, this is my way of "seeing the world" without leaving home, although some day I hope to actually get a chance to travel to other countries.

I would love to receive postcards showing the beauty and culture of different cities and countries. I especially love views of water - oceans, seas, lakes, rivers, ponds, waterfalls, even swimming pools! I do like scenes of the beautiful outdoors.

Storms - lightning, rain are also favourites of mine.

Anything unique to your country is very enjoyable to me - castles, old buildings, royal families, anything that shows your country's traditions or history. But I love every card that anyone sends me!

P.S. I see a lot of requests for Moomins. I don't know what that is, but I am curious and would be interested in receiving one of those as well.

P.P.S. Please be sure to register cards as received. It makes me sad to see expired cards :( I know life is busy for us all and sometimes it takes me a couple of days to get to it, but I know how important it is to acknowledge receipt. Thanks to all who take time to send and register all the great cards we receive!
