About Ilaria...

♥ ♥ ♥ Ciao!!! Postcrossing is so much fun :-))) I'm 36 years old, I teach English in a Primary school in Monza and I love this job even though it's quite demanding...
I adore baking, especially cakes and biscuits. In fact my favourite cards are the ones related to baking/making cakes or recipe cards for cakes/pies/cookies.
I also love anything with red polka dots and red and white gingham check... I love nests, birds' houses, robins and small birdies.
I love hearts, wild strawberries, raspberries, jam, cupcakes, teapots and cups: in fact...my biggest passion of all is loose leaf TEA!!
I love postcards with all the above if not...rabbits... squirrels...hamsters... hares... foxes...sakura, sweet violets, lavender and pansies, illustrations of picnics...flowers in boots, sweet things...or children's book illustrations.
I LOooOOooVE Atelier Nouvelles Images postcards, especially the ones by LOUIS GAILLARD and CAMILLE SOULAYROL :o)
I ADORE the French postcards from Cartes d'Art (the artists Corinne Bittler and Louise Deletang are my faves) and Editions de Mai (Anne Laval & Amandine Piu!)
P.S.: I'm not into cityviews and landscapes but I appreciate breathtaking scenery or photos of colourful & flowery doors or windows...but PLEASE if you can, do NOT send me multiview cards!!!

Have a look at my favourites on my postcard wall to get an idea of the postcards I love: http://www.postcrossing.com/user/Chaina/gallery/favourites :-)

I'd like to swap crafty things or goodies from other countries like tea, recipes of cakes or homemade things. I collect cookie cutters, cupcake liners/baking cups, hearts, nests, birds' houses, handmade wreaths, handmade rubber stamps, cute stickers...

For German postcrossers: I love the cards from "Rosalie liebt Truffel" :-)and Wolf Erlbruch's animal kisses postcards. I also love Janosch and Józef Wilkon's "Leopanther".

For Swedish postcrossers: I love Astrid Lindgren's Pippi Långstrump :-) I really like Charlotte Ramel's illustrations! I like Elsa Beskow's illustrations, too!

For Finnish postcrossers: I'm SO IN LOVE with Virpi Pekkala and Minna Immonen's cards (especially their xmas cards!)...any will make me so happy! And Inge Löök's, too! I love Heli Pukki's cards with the brown bear and the red fox..

For Dutch postcrossers: I really like Marjolein Bastin's art.
I love Fiep Westendorp and Annie M.G. Schmidt's Jip&Yanneke and Pim&Pom books :o)

For British postcrossers: I love Anita Jeram's "Guess How Much I Love You" and all her cards published by "Two Bad Mice". I also like illustrations or photos showing high tea/tea parties :-)) I love Jill Barklem's "Brambly Hedge"! I love cards published by "the art group".

For Japanese postcrossers: I'm so in love with so many cake related cards I've seen sent from Japan and many more...sigh!! I also adore Ryo Sakamoto's illustrations! (Coco-Chan)

I'm very happy with trading used postcards :o)
