About Chantal...

I'm a ( feeling young ^o^ ) mostly Dutch speaking Belgian, single, part-time working woman who loves life...

Postcrossing is really a great hobby for me. I love e-cards but receiving a real card is irreplaceable!!!
And like a postcrosser wrote to me: You get a little piece of the world in the mail!!! And you get to send a little piece of your own world 'out there'...

Postcrossing is also MY ideal way to travel the world without having to leave home! I'm a kind of stay-close-to-home-woman...

I'm very much in love with my own country, I like all seasons here, I love snow, although in my region ( The West Flanders ) snow is a curiosity, in fall I'm amazed by the beautiful colours, in spring I like how nature comes alive and in summer, the thing I'm looking forward the most is paddling barefoot in our North sea... what a great feeling!!!
I wouldn't trade my country for any other! Not even when the rain is pouring down...

I don't have a preference what kind of card you would send me, although I love tigers, rainbows and butterflies!!!
Sunny and warm colours bring a smile to my face! My favourite colour is warm brown-rust!
I like quotes!
I love nature, I'm not at all into art.
My only son Michael, who unfortunately died in 2006, was a passionate truck driver, so postcards related to trucks are very welcome too!!!

If you like to know more about the city I live in, visit these websites: www.kortrijk.be or http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kortrijk.
And to understand a bit how my small and complex country tosses and turns, check out this video ===>>> http://vimeo.com/15049808 There even is a great song about us Belgians with some beautiful views of my country ===>>> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w7PYASZn86A And potverdikke it IS great to be a Belgian ;-))

Please write the date on the card just before you post it!

I'm really looking forward to receive each and every card...
Hope to receive you soon in my mailbox! ;-)

Happy Postcrossinggreetings!!!
