Hi!

We are 6th grade students at Cambridge Academy in Mesa, Arizona, USA.

Arizona is located in the extreme southwestern portion of the United States. The northern half of the state features mountains and forests of pine. The southern half, where we live, is a desert climate with very hot summers (115F) and mild, beautiful winters.

Our school mascot is the coyote, an animal which can be seen frequently here in the desert. Our Science/Social Studies teacher, Mrs. Kurian, set up this Postcrossing account for us.

We are very excited about receiving postcards from all over the world! We are learning about geography, world history, and different cultures this year. We plan to hang the postcards, along with a world map, on the lunchroom wall to share with the entire school.

We are thankful for all postcards sent to us and are especially interested in receiving postcards with pictures that show us something about your country, your city or you. We would love to learn more about where you are from and/or your culture. Please tell us something about yourself and, if possible, write a line in your native language with an English translation.
