Hi there,
Writting something about myself, oeps (this is Dutch) how difficult can that be!?!?
I am a mother of a twin-daughters of 16 years old and we have a very intimate household with the three of us. My two daughters do not look like each other at all and that is very nice for them. Of course they have a special age, but that keeps everything very lively....
We share our household with two male cats, they are called: Shizzle and Simba. Sometimes they are very naughty. Because of allergy we have a special variety: Devon Rex. Shizzle and Simba are brothers and have the color: red.
And we have a very cute, black and very sweet rabbit, his name is: Nijntje.
My hobbys are most creative: I love to crochet, knit and embroider; I make large and small projects. In december 2011 I started to knit Christmas tree baubles. I have also discovered a new way of knitting: Fair Isle Knitting. I recently bought a beautiful packet knitting-yarn to make a shawl from a pattern made by: Christel Seyfarth, I can hardly wait to start this knitting-project!!! At this moment I am knitting a shawl for a very good friend. In a very difficult pattern from the book: Aran Knitting from Alice Starmore. Alice makes very beautiful designs, but they are quite complicated....
I make my own greeting cards....
I also like reading very much (but I do not have enough time to read unfortunately...). I love the following writers/books: J.K. Rowling: Harry Potter (brilliant!!), Jean M. Auel: Earth's Children is a series of speculative alternative historical fiction novels, Nicci French, Mary Hoffman: the Stravaganza series of fantasy novels, and Dutch writers such as: Saskia Noort, Simone van der Vlugt, Vonne van der Meer and Esther Verhoef.
If you write me a postcard would you be so kind to put the DATE on your card???
And I like the color purple, lilac, aubergine and very colorful cards, please no advertisement-cards... After having received my first cards I discovered that I really like postcards from your own town or country... And also nightviews from your town or country... And I also like to receive cards from M.C. Escher!!!
I have a preference: if it is possible only send me cards sized 10 x 15 cm (4" x 6" inches) because I have a special postcard-album for all my cards and only this size fits into this album! Thanks you in advance!
