About Mandy...

Hello my name is Mandy, I'm 30 years old and I live together with my boyfriend (Edwin) and 2 cats (Sammie & Droppie) in Uitgeest. It's a little town near Alkmaar and it's also near Amsterdam in the Netherlands.

I work full-time at an web-shop which sells all kind of articles to bake and decorate cakes & cookies. (www.deleukstetaartenshop.nl)

My interests are:
* listening to (live) music at festivals, concerts or just at the local bars

* I collect hippo's, I now have about 200 different little statues of hippo's, but I don't have so much cards/photo's from them so they are certainly welcome!

* I love to bake and decorate cakes and cookies, my avatar was my first "decorated with icing" cake (in this case the icing was fondant/marsepein), I learned this at a workshop which was given by the lady who now is my employer :-) If you like to bake etc for yourself and you understand a little dutch, maybe you can also check out this site, I find a lot of inspiration on this one: www.deleukstetaarten.nl

* I like reading, all kind of books but Harry Potter, books of the authors Diana Gabaldon, Stephen King, John Grisham, Preston & Child, Dan Brown, Stephenie Meyer, Stieg Larsson, Astrid Lindgren are my favorites

I like all kind of cards...send me one you would like to receive yourself!

But if you find it difficult to choose, here and in my favourites are some suggestions:

* Hippo's (as in Hippopotamus, Nijlpaard, Flusspferd etc. etc)

* (Disney) Films/Cartoons like: Alladin, Cinderella, Beauty and the beast, Twilight, Harry Potter, Pippi etc.

* Cards with lots of colors (especially purple / light-blue / pink / turquoise)

* Krtek (the little mole from the cartoons, Het molletje)

* Black / White cards

* Cards with natural phenomena like, rainbows, sun risings, sun settings, rain, volcanic eruptions etc.
