Bleuey

Before I had even started school I had already traveled halfway around the world thanks to growing up in a military family. I now reside in the Capital Region of New York State with a German shepherd who makes up in energy what she lacks in size. I'm inordinately fond of dark chocolate, calla lilies and emperor penguins. I have a deep-seated aversion to creatures with more than four legs and a morbid fear of clowns. The rest is merely details.

If you have the time, I would prefer you to write something on the postcard aside from the ID. No envelope necessary. I am fascinated by pretty and unique stamps, but that is by no means a requirement. I do not have a wishlist; I'm happy to receive any type of postcard. (It's nice to have any kind of post that isn't a bill or a bit of junk.) But here are a few things I find particularly appealing if you need help deciding what to send:

- The Lord of the Rings (both the books and films)
- Snoopy
- nature photography
- night-time landscapes and city views
- celestial bodies (suns, moons, stars)
- animals (wild or domesticated)
- Art Nouveau and Gothic architecture
- something from your part of the world; I love to see new places
