My name is Nicky, I am 44 years old and live in England, I am doing this postcrossing with my son Casey who is 15 as we thought it would be exciting to receive postcards from around the world and could be a little hobby for us and I know my son will enjoy getting postcards/letters in the post as much as I used to when I was younger and used to write to a penfriend in America.

We dont mind what type of postcards we receive but would probably like some that show us a little about the area you live in especially if you are anywhere in the USA.

Some other card suggestions-
-Animals-especially cats,giraffes,tigers
-Butterflies
-Flowers-My favourite is the gerbera they are so colourful
-Colours-green being my favourite
-Black and white pictures
-Children
-Musicals
-Shoes
-Water scenes
-Sweets/Cakes
-Food,cooking,recipes

-Would also love to receive festival cards at the appropriate time of year, Christmas, Easter, Halloween etc and birthday cards would be fab too mine is February and Casey's is April.

But we really would be happy with any postcard you choose.

We would also like it if you could write something on the
postcard maybe tell us a little about yourself,what you like doing,hobbies or about the area you live in, or maybe a kids joke (my son loves jokes).If you could please write something though dont leave it blank :-)

Also if its not to much trouble please could you put the date on the postcard and scan a picture of the card you are sending us if at all possible as we dont have a scanner. Thanks.

We are both looking forward to the post coming now and he will probably be racing me to the door to get to the post first.
