Benigua

Hi! :)
My name is Mercedes, i am 27 and I live in Göttingen, an old and lovely university town quite in the center of Germany.
I really do enjoy travelling a lot, because i like learning about different cultures and places.
That´s also why i lived in China for over two years. Now i´m back home and a little bit "homesick" for other countries, cities and cultures so i hope receiving postcards from all over the world will ease my "sickness" :)

Some of my other hobbies are reading, hiking, cooking and baking, gardening (unfortunately I only have a "balcony garden" at the moment, but hope this will change soon)and collecting pretty postcards ;)

Some random ideas for postcards i like
- trees
- books (books, libraries, book covers (also magazine covers)...)
- pictures of nature, beautiful landscapes in general
- antiques (furniture, old stuff like keys, cups etc, but also old houses/buildings)
- black and white cards
- illustrations or beautiful paintings
- animals (especially tortoises, donkeys, pandas, owls...)
- typical things from your country
- spices or food (e.g. from nouvelles images or cupcakes, coffee, recipes or sth like that ;) ).

Or, since my apartment is rather colourful, any postcards with nice colours you find.

Maybe my wall of favourite postcards and sent postcards (i always try to pick cards that not only the receiver will probably like, but ones i also like) will help you to pick a postcard :)

But after all i´ll enjoy every postcard, so i´m looking forward to receive your´s ;)

I would really appreciate you writing something on the card, more than just a plain "happy postcrossing" (maybe something about you/your day/why you picked the card, anything that comes in your mind or recipes, something about your favourite book/movie/band etc. :) ). That would be really great and make my day, thank you in advance! :)
