About Olga...

Hello! My name is Olga.
I live with cat Pusha and husband Leonid in little green town. The continental climate with little snow in winter and hot summer allow to grow grain and fodder crops, fruit and vegetables. The coldest months are January and February. A temperature is between 20 - 35°C. The warmest month is July. A temperature is between 25 - 35°C.
Khakassia is situated in the centre of the Asian continent, in the Altai – Sayanski ecological region. On a comparatively small territory of 61,9 thousand square kilometers the natural landscape varies uniquely from semi-deserts to alpine meadows and tundra.

Here you will find unique nature, unique culture, wonderful people and mysterious monuments from the past. Khakassia has 8 regions. They are: Altayskii, Beyskii, Askizskii, Bogradskii, Ordgonikidzevskii, Tashtipskii, Ust-Abacanskii, Shirinskii.
Abakan is the capital of Khakassia.
About two thirds of the territory of Khakassia is occupied by mountains. In the west the Kuznetsk Alatau runs across the Republic. Its peaks go up to 1700 – 2000 metres. The highest peak called Verhnii Zub (which means Upper Tooth) or it is also called Podnebesnyi (which means the Heavens) is 2178 metres high. In the south Khakassia is encircled by the Western Sayan mountains. Its axial range Sayanskii reaches up to 2500 metres above the sea level; even in summer some of its summits are covered with snow. They are called “Tas-hills”. If you happen to find yourself on one of its tops, the beauty of it will take your breath away. The immense boundless vista merges with the horizon mesmerizing you to a state of soaring in the sky.

I love traveling, spending time with family, and exploring new cultures and countries.
I like unusual postcards, drawing postcards, fabulous illustrations, postcards with picture of your city and culture.
I collect stamps and coins of different countries. Please, if you can, paste more of a variety of stamps.

I'd love to hear about yourself, your culture, or your favorite quote (you can write in your native language, with translation).
