About Tamara...

I love to write and send postcards. Postcards for birthdays, for Christmas greetings, to say thank you or just because... I hope you will like my postcards?!

I love postcards with a strange twist, fantasy related or with a lot of colors. I absolutely love postcards with a little twist to the dark side, so if you have any, you will make my day! I love Halloween and spooky themed postcards.

I'm a social worker, I have put a lot of love and time in my work with elderly people who suffer dementia. But in the year 2017 it became time to do something different! I started my job as a social worker for elderly former homeless people. They all had a history of drug and alcohol abuse and had psychiatric and physical problems. Because of my own physical problems I had to stop doing this work. I started with an office job in 2020 where I tried to place the elderly at the right nursinghome, what matches their needs, support their family and the caretakers. In august 2022 I have started a new job as a social worker. Again with the elderly with all types of problems: dementia, psychiatric diseases, addictions etc.

My husband, the love of my life, is working as a professional tattoo-artist for nearly 25 years now. I have a stepson who lives with us, he is a 20 years old stubborn adolescent, but I truely adore him!

In my spare free time I love to go to metal/rock gigs, do a little gardening and make spooky stuff out of old things from the thriftstore. My husband and I are selling them a couple times a year at gothic and fantasy fairs. You can see our stuff at FaceBook: https://www.facebook.com/SpookyStuff2/?ref=bookmarks.

When I was younger I collected stamps. Now I don't anymore, but I would love to receive some beautiful stamps or postcards with turtles and tortoises.

Happy Postcrossing!

Grtzzz, Tamara
