Hi everyone!

I'm just a random girl from the biggest city beyond the polar circle called Murmansk.

My parents and I decided to start Postcrossing after we had found the old father's collection of stamps. Now it's not only stamps, it's cards and their senders and it's much more interesting.

My parents used to work in school for 20 years, but now my father is an engineer in the local Resource Center for Distance Learning and my mother works in the library. Now I work as an English teacher and also I'm a student and study translation. We have two cats in our family: 13-year-old boy called Misha and 7-year-old girl Busya.

You're welcome to send us whatever you want, we are just glad to be here, send and receive postcards.

If you don't know what to send, we would be glad to receive postcards with:
- something connected with military, history;
- animals;
- lighthouses.

UPD:

It's been a little bit more than a year since my family and I joined Postcrossing and, I guess, now I finally figured out the real point of this project for me. So many upsetting things is going on around the world, the goverment and mass media in different countries tell people only what is profitable for them and sometimes it seems to be only the cruelty and greed around us. But hopefully here on Postcrossing things aren't the same. I'm so happy to meet all of you, to learn, that real people aren't on television, they just live their lifes, they are nice and affable, they are ready to regale absolute strangers with some positive news and emotions.
