Hi, I'm Sarah! I live in Washington, D.C., where I work for a small environmental organization.

While I only speak English and Spanish (and a wee bit of Icelandic), feel free to write to me in whatever language you please!

I adore art; new or old; classic or unknown, man-made or natural.

I am a sponge for culture and language, and seek to absorb all the knowledge I can regarding them, and anything else, for that matter.

I love hats, and all sorts of music, and I'm particularly fond of elephants.

I like to take walks, and when I walk, I tend to search for and identify ideal reading locations wherever I am, though my favorites are benches under trees in public parks and window seats padded with cushions that are bathed in lots of sun.

I am quite fond of children, and of delicious jams.

I never cease to be delighted by tea, or amused by a very fluffy mustache.
