I think Postcrossing is a really exciting way to interact with people all around the world that I may have never had the chance to interact with. In this day & age, everything is so e-centric and technology-focused that it's just nice to get a good 'ole piece of mail in your mailbox. It's like Christmas when I get mail because it's such a surprise.

About me...well I like to be outdoors. I love to go for walks and am trying to get more aggressively into hiking. I love the mountains and nature and waterfalls. I also love the ocean and the beach. I like anything that is natural.

Some of my other favorite animals are octopi, zebras, giraffes, koalas, and hippos.

I really look forward to hearing from everyone. As many people tend to put what types of postcards they like to receive in their profiles, I will say I think that any postcard is a good postcard. Funny cards, nature & landscape, touristy, full maps of your country, handmade cards, **aurora borealis**, landmarks, animals, native language cards, shiny cards, country flags...I really don't care what card you send.

PLEASE please please write something in your native language if you like. I think part of the mystery of the postcards is deciphering the message and I find other languages intriguing!

PLEASE please please also try to upload a picture of the postcard before you send it so the world can see your wonderful card. It just means a lot that you sent one anyway. I just hope it gets to me in one piece! Have a great day!
