Hello! My name is Jen. I love to learn about new places and cultures, and I love to travel. My favorite thing to do is read. The best day is spent curled up in a comfortable chair with a good book. I would love to learn about where you live and what makes it special! Tell me where I should go if I visit, and what foods I should eat! I love trying different foods whenever I visit somewhere new.

Since I love to read and write I love to learn about what others love to read too. Postcards with books from your area would be fantastic or with pictures of local places. I also enjoy cats, coffee, and tea. Bookstores are my favorite places to shop and visit, no matter what country I'm in! I am okay with religious postcards. I like learning about every aspect of other cultures, including religion!

For the last eleven years I have been a teacher in various areas. I taught for seventh and eighth grade English, however now I am doing something different. I was offered and accepted a job as an adjunct professor at the college I attended for my graduate degree, and I am also teaching English online to students in China! I absolutely love both my jobs, and I have been incredibly happy. This pandemic has allowed me to connect with my Chinese students on a new level as we talk about what it's like being stuck instead under quarantine. I'd love to know how this is affecting you, if you want to write about it!
