Greetings from America - New York to be exact.

I am new to Postcrossing and came upon this website completely by accident.

My husband had a great idea for an APP. Knowing my love for Postcards (I collect many and keep them in my Photo Albums) he said "wouldn't it be great if you could collect postcards from around the world", so I googled that and found Postcrossing. What a wonderful idea. Most of my Postcards are blank because I usually just buy Postcards from where I travel to and when friends and family travel, they bring me back Postcards. This is a much better idea, because now not only do I collect Postcards from all over the world, but I make pen pals too.

My hobbies include: Photography (my greatest passion). I love taking pictures and organizing my thousands of photos. It is kind of like therapy for me. When I travel or go to an event, people I am traveling with do not worry about the pictures, because they know I am there and I will be sure to capture the event or vacation. I also enjoy traveling, the Theater, planning events, spending time with friends and family and playing with my 3 kitties.

When sending me a Postcard, I really only have one request - I prefer to receive touristy Postcards that show where it is from.

I can not wait to start receiving Postcards. It gives me something exciting to look forward to when I check my mailbox.
