Due to health and mobility issues post crossing is how I travel the world!. The post card you send doesn't have to be of your own city or country. Feel free to send cards from places you've visited or wish to visit!

I'm not a really religious person, but I don't get offended by holiday cards. In fact I quite enjoy them! I enjoy learning about the beliefs of people around the world!
If you're not sure what to write on the card you sent me here are some ideas!

1. any pets you may have. I love animals of all kinds, not just cats

2. what music are you listening to? I love to learn about bands I may not be familiar with.

3. What book are you reading?

4. What television shows are you watching?

5. A favorite quote from a movie, book, etc.

I live in a nursing home in a small town in Iowa where life is pretty quiet. I'm an open minded Pagan who loves attending concerts, plays, local festivals, the local county fair, and various fund raising efforts.

When I'm not out and about, I'm home knitting, crocheting, or counted cross stitching with the help of my 17 year old cat Gypsy (that's her in my avatar pic) who thinks I should be petting her instead.

I'm also a voracious reader. I love epic fantasy such as Robert Jordan. Books that make me laugh like the Discworld books by Terry Pratchett or the Dresden Files series by Jim Butcher, or books that scare me like Stephen King or Dean Koontz. I even enjoy the occasional murder mystery by Jeffrey Deaver or Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child.

I'm not a huge sports fan, but I do love the Minnesota Vikings NFL football team and the Iowa Hawkeyes.

I love sharing the post cards I receive with friends and family of all ages!
