Hello! I am excited to receive a postcard from you! I love to learn about other places & cultures.

Iowa, where I live, is a rolling prairie state with lots of crop land. I live at the edge of a small town where I can look out my window & watch the sun set. Some days I look out & see thunderstorms or snowstorms approaching. Seeing the stars or moon at night is my favorite time.

My husband & I married in 2013 at the small theatre where we met. We have an 12 yr old Basset Hound (Raven). She's a rescue dog who is full of love & silliness.

You can send me any type of card, but here's a little about me that might help you choose: I enjoy theatre, history, art, movies, puzzles, & reading. I like to visit new places, especially historic places. We want to travel overseas but right now we are trying to visit all states in the United States together. We're up to 32. I've yet to visit a place where the scenery hasn't amazed me :) We like visiting state & national parks.

Iowa is landlocked, so large lakes & oceans humble me, & I love lighthouses. I have lived near railroads all my life--here, they mostly haul grain & freight, not people--so I like trains, too.

If you write something in your language, could you please let me know in English what it says? Or, if you don't, it will be a good mystery for me to figure out ;) Best to you!

Received a Christmas/New Year card today from LV-204704. The postmark appears to say "Daugavpils." It was sent over a year ago so I can no longer register it. But I received it if Christina is checking :)
