Hi, my name is Vanessa.
I'm a middle aged Mum of 3 who have now left the nest, so now it's just my Husband, 4 cats and chickens that keep me busy.
I enjoy cooking and love recipes that taste and look fantastic but are easy to do, though it's more fun cooking when everyone is home!
In good weather, I like to be in the garden trying to save the plants I've forgotten to water.
A good book preferably a murder mystery from days past,sat by the fire with a cup of tea or glass of wine with something classical playing in the background is my idea of heaven.
My favourite excursion is to a museum with artefacts and paintings that reflect the beauty and customs of different countries.
I love nature, paintings and sculpture and know very little but get great pleasure from discovering something new.
