Hi folks,

I am a healthy, active 80 year old as of this August, God willing, young at heart and mind.

My professional life was as a court reporter in Detroit's Circuit Court. My husband was a business reporter. We both love retirement. What's not to love?

Enjoy tech, computers and especially the internet. I have traveled many places in the world and have lots of favorite places but every country was thrilling and an unforgetable adventure. For instance? Well, Africa three times; Kenya for the animals, Namibia for the Skeleton Coast, West Africa coast via cruise ship from Athens down to Cape Town. Oh, the stories! The memories! The fun and excitement! We loved all the countries we visited.

I read mysteries and adventures. Favorite authors are Michael Connelly, John Sandford and Daniel Silva. Oh, can't forget Thomas Perry. Love movies, too. The shoot 'em up kind, the 1940s kind, the funny ones especially. Most recent favorite The Accountant.

I quilted for many years and gave it up when the family had quilts on every bed in every room. Now I only needlepoint to keep my hands busy.

We live in Michigan, an hour north of Detroit. Married 30 plus years, we have six children living all across the USA: Chicago, Denver, New Jersey, Arizona, Michigan, too. We are Evangelical Christians and honor Jesus as our Lord and Savior.
In the summer we live on the St Clair River and the freighters pass by very close.
