Graduate in Arabic and French from the University of Cambridge.

I am passionate about education and working with children. I have worked as a private French tutor for three four years, worked as a teaching assistant in a theatre school and most recently worked as an activity leader/drama coordinator for a TEFL company in Italy. I am also passionate about voluntary work - last year I was part of a scheme called Little Sib, which matches students with children who have learning difficulties or for whom English is not their first language.

Besides that, I love learning languages...my current personal goal is to learn conversational Italian this year. I also love to read, in French and Arabic as well as English and I read prose, poetry, autobiography and plays. I enjoy writing poetry and blog posts, which I am currently doing as part of a project to encourage young people to take languages in Higher Education (you can see them on my blog, linked above). I also love cooking, squirrels, dogs, cats (and most animals), tea, tea pots, beautiful walks in nature, my family and theatre - I have been acting since I was 7 and have participated in many productions with my local theatres.

In terms of POSTCARDS, my preferred postcard is something that shows off your culture, country or region, be that a photo of a place that means something to you, the clothing, the food or anything else that represents where you live!
