About Laura...

Hello!
My name is Laura, I'm 22 years old and I live in California, USA. I'm currently in university studying psychology. Some of my interests include: art, animals, writing letters, reading, gardening, cooking, baking, traveling, studying French, dancing, and hiking.

I'm always happy to receive any card, and I love receiving view cards showing different countries or cities. For me, receiving a postcard is a bit like getting a chance to travel to another place. I get a chance to see a bit of someone else's world, which is really special I think!
If you want to send something from my wishlist or favorites, I would be thrilled. If you send me something not from my wishlist I would be thrilled to receive it as well!

Some cards I especially love are:
-map cards
-UNESCO World Heritage Sites
-country or regional flags
-folk art/ photos showing things unique to your country (native dress, regional dishes, festivals, ect.)
-postal themed (mail boxes, stamps, ect.)
-travel themed
-reading themed (books, bookstore, children's book illustrations, ect.)
-cards with quotes on them (both in English and in other languages)
-Aurora Borealis
-art by Alphonse Mucha
-fairies, gnomes or toadstools
-Harry Potter
-Moomin
-The Little Prince
-Tintin
-Studio Ghibli
-shaped cards, Gotochi cards
-any card from my favorites, or cards similar to my favorites

I'm also interested in maxicards, but I've never received one before.

I would prefer not to receive ad cards or handmade/ selfmade cards.

I would love it if you would write something about yourself, where you live, what's special about your area, about your day... anything that you want to share. :) I'm fascinated by different languages, so if you want to teach me a phrase in your language I'd love to learn. I can read French, so if you speak French feel free to write me a message in it. For me, the message really "makes" a card, so if you take the time to write a thoughtful message I'll definitely appreciate it.

Thanks in advance! I know I'll love whatever you send. :)
