My husband and I are both artists, though we've enjoyed a variety of schooling & occupations. I achieved a business degree and worked in the adm. dept. of a social services org. Next was seminary and working in The Salvation Army in the inner-city of Chicago. After marrying, my 1st son was born with autism so I left my career & provided childcare in my home for years. Then 4 yr. art college and I became a self-employed art teacher in various community programs. I was born & reared in beautiful Duluth, MN, on the mountains overlooking Lake superior and the bayfront where huge ore boats arrived daily. From there at 18 -- Mpls. MN, Chicago and other part of Ill., and finally to here in Michigan, just 30 mn. from Lake Michigan. We LOVE to travel the US by car and prefer hostels so we can meet international peoples. We once spent 3 weeks in Ireland, daring to rent a car and travel 3/4 of the country <3 Crazy Irish drivers nearly gave us heart attacks :) We would travel the world if we could!
