Hi, I'm Rhonda. I live in Oakland, California with my boyfriend and dog. Oakland is directly across the bay from San Francisco, and I try to take advantage of all the exciting events my area offers, like art museum exhibits, hearing bands play in clubs, and seeing theater productions. I have been a teacher for many years, which I enjoy, especially reading children's literature.

I really like the idea of how random this process is and the goodwill it promotes. People like B. Varsha from India have made me feel very welcome as a new arrival in this special community (when I donated to support Postcrossing, she sent me a very sweet 'thank you' email).
