I am 41 and live in central California with my husband and 8 year old daughter and 1 year old son, where our summers are usually 100+ degrees for a few months.

I enjoy snowboarding, cooking, reading, gardening, music, movies, art and the occasional concert. I am a bit of a youtube and goodreads addict. Steinbeck is my favorite author and the beach is my favorite place to just sit still for awhile. Sarcasm, wit and humor get me through most days. My main vice is ice cream.

Please write something other than the postcrossing ID. I consider myself a lifelong learner and would love to hear about anything and everything in your life. Things you like or love, recipes, favorite books or authors, memories, hopes, wishes, frustrations, commentary or any other snippets of life. It would be disappointing to miss an opportunity to learn something new if you don't write anything.

While I like scenery, landscapes and animals, the more artsy/cartoony/quirky/weird the postcard, the better. I love seeing unique stamps too! Send something you would want to receive. :)
