Hello Postcrossing community! My name is Ty, I'm originally from Colorado, though I currently live in Oxford where I am a student studying anthropology. I've really come to enjoy sending mail to my family and friends over the past year and am interested in expanding this activity more globally! I love the idea of picking out a postcard, writing what's on my mind, and then sending it without knowing exactly who will receive it or how it will get there -I find the whole process to be very magical.

In terms of my other interests, I enjoy learning about philosophy, history, environmental conservationism, film, and art. I also have a big interest in architecture, I'm interested in studying architectural history and philosophy after I finish my undergraduate degree. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, reading (literary criticism, Russian literature, poetry), taking pictures, and sound recording. I enjoy finding patterns in the world, and discovering connections between previously unconsidered realms of thought.

Send me postcards that best reflect you and your experience in the world! This seems like a great opportunity to see the world differently -articulate that to me. I'm open to receiving all kinds of postcards, but I would be especially happy to receive postcards that have anything to do with homes, houses, and landscapes (this is a particular interest of mine).
