I am a retired librarian, wife, and mother to two girls. I have one grandson and numerous grandcats.
I was born and raised in Florida and now live in Colorado. I have driven an 18-wheeler over the road. Loved it and had a chance to see parts of our country. We built our own house in New Mexico several years ago and recently sold that. I enjoy crocheting, quilting, and reading. I play too much on my Kindle!

I would like to consider myself a collage artist but that is not quite true. I pretend, and make huge messes. But it generally makes me happy. Most of my crocheting is done for charity as all of my family have told me they have plenty of afghans, thank you. Oh, and I also do a couple of cross stitch pieces every year.

I like nature, animals, architecture, books, the ocean (or just about any water), interesting people, lighthouses, food (love to bake), other people's gardens (I don't seem to do too well on my own), other countries and their cultures. Every time I get a new address I look up their country and learn something fascinating.
