I retired at age 60 in summer of 2021 and I am loving it! From 2007 to 2009, I lived and worked in Beijing, China, teaching English as a Second Language to children ages 7-16. It was absolutely the time of my life. China still feels like my second home. I still miss my life there and love it when I can go back and visit my friends and former colleagues and students.

I like to read about other cultures and travel! I have visited 27 countries with a long list of many yet to visit. I love having international friends, getting to know and understand other peoples and their cultures, traveling, reading (fiction and non-fiction), writing (I'm a journaler), photo-journaling, creativity, and mail. I enjoy making handmade cards and letter books to send to friends. I love writing with fountain pens and different colored inks.

I have no specific preference for postcards. Actually, whatever you choose to send will be special because it's a reflection of who you are and I feel that's a huge part of exchanging among stranger friends. :) I love seeing where you live and tourist cards are great. But if you have something quirky or unusual, I will also love that! So feel free to send whatever you want and I will truly appreciate it. Ad cards are okay if they are really cool! Homemade cards are also very much appreciated! I hope you'll write a little something about yourself or where you live or what you are doing right now in life.

I love stamps! I love artsy colorful doodling and like to draw on postcards I send when I have time.

I love all the colors of the ocean best...with sea green probably my most favorite color. I like winter better than summer and fall better than spring. I enjoy reading, movies, hiking, and especially TRAVELING. I have 12 States left to visit and then I will have visited all 50 States.

I love animals and have owned both cats and dogs in the past but now I just have one cat named Grayson! He's a big fat gray cat. I have a grand dog (my son's dog) named Miller that visits often. I also love monkeys, birds, and all animals. I love seeing the scenery of your city as well. Choose anything. I will love it!

I'm a single Mom of one wonderful adult son who lives and works here in Nashville.
