Hello!

I began Postcrossing with my Year 2 class at school (I'm a teacher), but with holidays and lack of time I had to stop it within class but have become addicted so am continuing on my own!

Although I find emails useful, receiving a letter when it drops through the letter box is very exciting and makes me smile :) I love searching for the right postcard, even if this means it takes a couple of extra days to send, and I annoy my local Post Office asking for picture stamps every time I visit.

I don't mind which postcards I receive, they are all beautiful and unique. After recently watching the Mail Art video I loved the homemade cards, but also love postcards that include, but are not limited to the following:

-animals and wildlife
-local landmarks
-local cuisine/food
-quotes
-images of typical life in your community
-history of the place you live

I love to travel, so if you can write something interesting about your town/city/country and if I were to visit a must-see or must-do would be perfect!

I also love food!! So if there is a particular recipe or dish that is unique to your culture please let me know, I love to try them.

I hope you all have lots of fun with Postcrossing, and I'm very excited about venturing out on my own! Any postcard is gratefully received!
