Hi, I'm Othella, a Child Welfare Assistant from the USA. I was born and raised in Michigan, but am now living in Oklahoma.

Reading and writing are my two most favorite things, and I also enjoy crafting, making beaded jewelry, board games (especially European-style), and Celtic music.

One day, I hope to be a librarian, and I adore introducing children to books, reading and new favorite stories. Young adult literature and fairy tales are always high on my reading list.

Some other things that I like are singing, owls, forget-me-nots, puzzles, cats, webcomics, tea, fairies, caterpillars, squirrels, bookmarks, hiking, 80's and early 90's cartoons, Peter Pan, dragons, letter writing, and Ireland.

I'm not a picky postee and will be grateful for any card you send. I do prefer "cute" cards (maybe even related to my likes above) or ones that are beautiful nature scenes. It's fun to learn about the sender or about what's on the card and why it was chosen or even have some favorite quotes or lines of poetry (any language, but please translate into English or if it's too long, send me the translation in a message after I mark your card as received!)
