I'm a 28 year old lady, originally from Portland, Oregon, USA. I have settled here in Grand Rapids with my husband, Jerry, and new kitty Babu. I work for a company that makes furniture like shelves and cabinetry for stores. I have also been an artist all my life, and hope to draw a graphic novel before I die! I'm a geek - grew up playing video games, coding HTML, watching Star Wars over and over, and so on. I thoroughly appreciate my brethren of geekdom. :D

If you're looking for ideas, though, I enjoy folk music from different countries, as well as dress, food, and geography - as I am working on a science fiction project and research as many world cultures as possible for inspiration. You can also go more modern and show me TV shows, movies, icons, etc. from your area. Or, as I said, anything!
