I am the mother of a 3 year old girl. I am starting this collection of postcards for her when she gets older as a keepsake, a project we can hopefully work on together and a way to open up the world for her and make other cultures come alive in a personal way.

We like arts and crafts, gardening, reading together, world music, our 6 chickens who provide us fresh eggs, and folk or fairy tales.

I don't have any preference for postcards except that please keep in mind I will be showing them to a very young child so nothing inappropriate. Thank you for your consideration.

I would really like to know either a favorite folk or fairy tale from your culture, a line of poetry, your favorite quote or song lyric or favorite work or art.
