Hi,

My name is Erik and I live in Rochester, NY, USA. Rochester is a city in western New York State near the Canadian border. We have hot summers, cold winters, and the autumn season here is especially beautiful. One of my favorite things about Rochester is that it's not too far away from New York City, or Toronto, Canada.

I'm looking forward to receiving a postcard from you! Here's a little information about myself- I love film and photography, bicycles and cycling, hiking, traveling, and astronomy. Years ago I went to college to study fine art (film and photography), and will always be an artist/drifter/wanderer/adventurer at heart.

I would love to receive any kind of card (except advertising cards). Touristy cards can be pretty cool, and anything about a part of the world I'm not familiar with is especially nice. Architecture, modes of transportation, nature and the environment, cities, science fiction, and outer-space (astronaut/cosmonaut/taikonaut, rockets, space ships, and astronomy are subjects that I find really interesting.) When I was a child I wanted to be an astronaut for NASA. A card with a view of your city or province would be really cool too.

But most importantly, write a little information about yourself and where you're from (please include the date). That's what makes this so interesting and fun. I love learning about other people and cultures.
