We are a family of 3, a mom and 2 daughters, one in high school, one in Jr. high. We live in Lansing, Michigan in the United States. Our city is the capital of Michigan. We enjoy traveling. The profile picture is the Mackinac (pronounced Mac-in-aw) Bridge. It is a suspension bridge that is 5 miles (about 8 kilometers) long and connects the upper and lower peninsulas of Michigan. As a family we have been to Mexico and many areas in the USA. I have also been to Canada many times, England, Scotland, Ireland and the British Virgin Islands. I would love to travel more and learn about the world but cannot afford to.

We would love any post card you send. We are interested in an explanation of the postcard (if it's something from your country), what you may like about where you live, a favorite recipe from your culture, a greeting or words in your language, or anything else you may think is interesting. We speak english though the children are learning German in school. So if you speak German feel free to write in German. I know a teeny tiny bit of Spanish. (I have a toddlers' level vocabulary.)
