About Tasha...

I am Tasha - a teacher living in the south of England about 30 minutes from London by train - I go there fairly regularly to exhibitions, concerts, theatre. Four-years cancer free - hooray.

I am married with a family of three children in their twenties and I was introduced to postcrossing by my oldest daughter! I have always loved writing letters and cards so this is the perfect interest for me!

I also like:
-being on the beach - my happy place - watching waves (especially stormy ones in winter) and finding shells in the summer
-people watching - on the train, in the street
-hearing the birds sing and seeing fresh green leaves in Springtime
-seeing flowers growing
-kicking through the autumn leaves
-visiting art galleries with my friends and family
-reading books of all sorts
-learning new things
-singing (I am in a chamber choir)
-listening to music of all types
-talking to friends and my family
-working as a teacher
-helping to make a difference in little ways or big ways!

I would love to receive cards that you find hard to put into a category or photographs of people are a real favourite. Anything unusual is really appreciated. (Special requests are below). Most of all I would love to know something about you and your life - it's so special to imagine you wherever you are writing: your kitchen table, a café, in bed! Describe it to me please with as much detail as you can fit in! As I say, anything unusual, preferably not a city/town view, would be wonderful. I will hunt out a card that is a good match for you too!

Special Requests please just in case you have them!!:
-people at work, scenes of everyday life
-kayaks and canoes for my husband
-F1 for my son
-tapirs for my older daughter
-anything medical for my younger daughter (doctor in training)
-gingko/maidenhair trees - I love them
-I love maxi cards and Gotochi cards - I now have about 10 gotochi cards :)

My favourites are all cards that I have received.

Thank you, Peace and Joy (Stay safe and keep washing your hands)

(amended July 2021)
