The Marrero Family:

We love to learn about other countries! We are sending postcards as part of a homeschool project. We will be practicing our geography skills as we send and receive postcards. We love pictures of your local attractions such as museums, zoos, national parks, and other tourist destinations. Please tell us about your culture and about your daily life. We enjoy photo postcards or map postcards of your local attractions or town or city. We love unique stamps from your country, coins glued to the postcard, or stickers. We appreciate opening the mailbox to find a connection to another part of our world.

Jonathan is eight years old. He is in the third grade. His favorite color is orange. He enjoys playing with Legos, Pokemon cards and toys, StarWars toys, playing with his soccer and baseball teams, and reading. Jonathan is a chess player too.

Lucy is five years old. She loves playing! Her favorite things to play is doctor to her dolls. She also enjoys playing outside with her brother. She is an excellent artist and loves to paint and draw with sidewalk chalk.

Our family adopted a retired racing greyhound from Arkansas. His name is Clemente. We also have a Beta fish named Qubert.

Our mother is our teacher. She has also been a public school teacher and college professor. Our father works for a hospital as a clinical pharmacist.

As a family, we love to travel and visit cultural sites. We hope to visit your country someday!
