I am the mother of two boys who are 11 and 7 years old. The boys attend a state funded cyber school so we are either at home or on the road visiting places. We would love to learn geography with postcrossing as we have been with Geocaching. They both love getting mail and finding locations on maps.

Both boys love geography and cultures different than their own. They also enjoy just seeing a glimpse of other distant places. My husband works for a Finnish company making those cards exciting for the boys. They have cousins living in South Korea for a year adding excitement to cards sent from there. I enjoy architecture also but mostly places of worship. The entire family loves getting your card and marveling at the different stamps as well as the card.

Because I am home, I am very good about registering cards. Cards sent to me are usually registered within minutes of leaving the mailbox. Just give me time to walk back up the drive and share your card - then we register to see exactly where you live and what's nearby.
