I am married to a wonderful man and am the mother of two grown-up girls and also I am also lucky to have a step-daughter and step-son, who are the same ages as my own children (26 and 24). I am thrilled to have become a grandmother for the first time, in January 2014, to a gorgeous little girl by the name of Lucy.
I am a creative person and love painting (acrylic on canvas) and have filled all the walls in our house with my art. I have also sold a couple of paintings, but find it difficult to part with them when the time comes. I love doing any "arty crafty" things and at the moment, my daughter and I are going to pottery classes and thoroughly enjoying it . I enjoy sewing, reading and cooking up a storm for family and close friends. I also love spending time on our beautiful beaches, eating fresh mussels and oysters off the rocks and picking up driftwood. My passion is re-cycling and I can always see an art project in somebody's junk that they are throwing away. My favourite website is Pinterest, where I get a lot of ideas for my projects. I work full time (Legal Secretary), so have to fit in all my projects over the week-ends, which always seem to be too short and of course quality time with my beautiful granddaughter and family. My husband is my soul mate and we enjoy a very relaxed lifestyle in our beautiful sunny South Africa.
