Have a great sense of humour, and am a people's person. Retired but worked a long time in the arts, but not on the stage. Live in the countryside besides a river, the fastest flowing in South Africa, and love travelling, when I write up my journey as well as scrapbooking it, when I can afford it, reading, correspondence, gardening, photography, scrapbooking, most forms of music, and anything historical.
I write in my spare time and am interested in people and places and learning something new.
I look after a bunch of semi feral cats, who cost me an arm and a leg in food, but who I adore.
I am single, but very independent, and my family live close by ..... sport is not my real love, although the rest of the family are mad about golf, and win trophies for this, so I do watch it, as do I watch the Olympics usually the opening and closing ceremony only though. I do know all about Hockey, cricket, football, fencing, rugby, though.
I love learning about other countries so any postcards are welcome, from historical buildings, animals, birds, drawings, views, etc ..... as long as they are interesting!!!!
I am also a great fan of Royalty ...... having a distant connection to the British Royal Family, and having met the Queen and Prince Phillip. I am also distantly related to the Irish and French Royal Houses ...... but am down to earth, and not a snob. So any Royal cards are welcome.
I have a niece who has just started studying at University, in Florida USA, so any postcards from there would be welcome, as well as other parts of the USA, although my heart belongs in South Africa and Europe.

Any postcards are welcome as it is my way for travelling the world everytime one arrives, and the stamps are also enjoyed too.
